Welcome to JLH Showjumping. I am Jacob Hazell, a professional rider based in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. Alongside my work as a freelance rider within the racing industry, I also break and pre-train from my home yard.
My approach centres on the correct and sympathetic development of each horse, ensuring they are given the time, structure, and education required to reach their full potential. I compete under British Showjumping, with a focus on consistent progression and long-term success.

Breaking/Backing
I am a quiet confident and patient rider. I love nothing more than seeing a horse I've broken and trained out there with their owner having fun and doing well at achieving their goals.
Training/ Pre-training
I have worked in some sucessful racing yards as a work rider (jump & flat ) and also breaking pre-trainers for many seasons.
Competition Riding
I have had some fantastic horses over the years which has allowed me to accomplish jumping British Showjumping to 1.25m and completing the 2 fence challenge. I have jumped at home up tp 1.60m. I currently have two young horses out jumping the circuit.
